Highgate Wood School is a mixed comprehensive school, catering for over 1400 students of all abilities and backgrounds aged from eleven to eighteen years old.
Lakethorne provide daily cleaning across the school via 19 working operatives including one supervisor. In addition to periodic and deep cleans we have also responded to Covid-19 outbreaks and provided rapid deep clean and fogging to eradicate the danger.
Case Study
Lakethorne group were awarded the cleaning contract through competitive tender in October 2017. The tender specification was initially for cleaning services Monday to Friday during term time supported by a robust deep cleaning schedule delivered during school holidays.
During mobilisation the Lakethorne team identified a number of efficiencies and savings during one of many implementation meetings the team offered additional services to enhance the base offering, these included: window cleaning, washroom services and consumables. By consolidating these service lines and spends we were able to remove back office costs such as invoice processing which gave back valuable management time to the schools facilities team.
